House of Miracles & Empowerment began as a community that took care of its own. Today it is a humanitarian organization doing the same work at a larger scale — feeding neighbors, helping families in crisis, and investing in the people who make a community strong.

To meet real human needs with dignity — food, essentials and urgent help — and to strengthen communities through empowerment, education and service.

Our vision

Communities where no one goes hungry unnoticed, where crisis is met by neighbors, and where help builds capacity instead of dependence.

Our story

We started in Atlanta as a small group of people who refused to look away — cooking, delivering, checking on families, and covering needs quietly out of their own pockets. Charlotte followed, then friends and volunteers in other cities.

As the need grew, so did the responsibility. House of Miracles & Empowerment is now organized as a humanitarian nonprofit so that this work can be funded properly, reported honestly, and continued long after any one of us.

Our next chapter is international: community feeding and humanitarian support in the Dominican Republic, built with local partners rather than around them.
